Enter Alice's vibrant world of textile artistry in the heart of Amsterdam.
First, gather as Alice shares her knowledge of natural dyeing. You will learn about the wide range of plants and flowers that can be turned into dyes. You will then arrange your chosen dye plants and flowers on a delicate silk scarf.
With each petal placed with precision, you will wrap your scarf and steam it to imprint the colour. As the steam rises, the heat and dye fuse together, imprinting the scarf with a kaleidoscope of colour. You will then reveal your creation and the unique pattern that's been created!
But the adventure doesn't end there. Alice invites you to delve deeper, play with pH levels and unlock a world of colour-changing possibilities. You will leave with new-found knowledge and a unique scarf in your hands.

Meet Alice, a spirited artisan whose journey into the world of textiles began with a single sewing class during her university days in 2015.
From there, Alice was hooked and began working in a small sewing studio in Toronto. This environment allowed her to grow and learn more about different textile techniques, and natural dyes and quilting became her passion.
Getting her own studio space was a huge turning point for Alice. Nestled in the vibrant city of Toronto, it is where Alice works with the art of quilting and natural dyes.
But it is not just about creating beautiful pieces; it is also about the moments of quiet reflection, the joy of learning new techniques and building a small community where people can come together, share and make things with their hands.
Driven by a desire to share her passion for textiles and the natural world, Alice organises workshops that are immersive experiences. Through hands-on exploration and playful experimentation, she empowers others to rediscover the joy of making.
For Alice, crafting is more than a pastime; it's a gateway to connection - with nature, with people and with yourself!
