Meet Lilian.

Meet Lilian, a mosaic artist based in Amsterdam. Born in Hamburg in 1975 and raised in Baarn, Lilian's creativity flourished in an artistic family. Although she initially studied communications, her love of painting, drawing and ceramics never wavered.

Her travels as a tour guide sparked a fascination with the ornamental art of different cultures and led to her passion for mosaics, which she embraced in 2001. Lilian is a member of BBK and AIMC (International Association of Contemporary Mosaic Artists) and creates both commissions and exhibition pieces which are exhibited in galleries, schools and community art projects.

Lilian teaches at mosaic schools throughout the Netherlands, sharing her knowledge with students of all ages. 

With numerous exhibitions to her credit, including an award at the 2007 International Mosaic Biennale, she continues to seek new inspiration through artist residencies in Europe and Indonesia.

With her passion and expertise, Lilian inspires and enriches the art community with her stunning mosaics.
