Guided by Jori’s expertise, you delve into the essentials of design and metalwork, gaining an understanding of the tools and skills required to fashion a ring. The process begins with conceptualisation, where thoughts are translated into design sketches under Jori's attentive supervision.
The workshop places emphasis on the individuality of your personality, allowing for the incorporation of personal touches into the design, ensuring the ring truly reflects you. Utilising the time-honoured lost wax technique, you will sculpt your wax model with finesse and care, pouring your vision into every curve and contour.
Following the crafting process, Jori oversees the intricate casting of the rings in silver, applying professional finishing to ensure durability and comfort. Upon completion, the ring is not merely an ornament, but a cherished memory.

Jeweller
Jori Spaa is a passionate jewellery artist with a flair for creating pieces that tell a unique story. Having worked with several renowned goldsmiths and designers, he has established himself as an expert in the field of jewellery and design. He has exhibited his works at several prestigious venues, including the jewellery gallery Rob Koudijs in Amsterdam, auction house Piere Berger in Brussels, and fashionfabriek in Amsterdam.
In 2015, Jori opened his own studio in Amsterdam, an incubator for creative entrepreneurs where he welcomes clients who are looking for bespoke and meaningful jewellery pieces. He believes that the story behind each piece is just as important as the craftsmanship, and he strives to capture the essence of each client's personal journey in his creations. His jewellery is ethical, local, and sustainable.
Jori loves to share his passion for jewellery making with others, and he often hosts workshops in his studio. He believes that everyone has the potential to create something beautiful, and he enjoys helping participants bring their ideas to life. Jori's studio is a reflection of his artistic and creative personality, and it is filled with inspiration and beautiful tools of the trade.

Absoluut een aanrader! Mijn partner en ik hebben ter ere van ons 10e jubileum bij Jori een workshop zilveren ring maken gevolgd en zijn ontzettend positief over onze ervaring! Wij werden warm ontvangen en Jori vertelde met veel passie over zijn geschiedenis in het veld. Wij werden goed begeleid, en Jori gaf de ruimte en begeleiding dat mijn partner en ik ringen konden maken die ons persoonlijk goed lagen. Uiteraard zijn wij geen juweliers, maar Jori begeleidde ons goed en sprong waar nodig bij zodat wij beiden tevreden zijn met het uiteindelijke product! Gedurende de hele workshop was Jori erg vriendelijk en toegankelijk, en kreeg ik nergens een gehaaste indruk o.i.d. Wij zijn zeer positief over de workshop en zouden het absoluut aanraden!
