2 hours of discovery with Martine

Knowledge of edible flowers

Your own edible flower creation or planter

The workshop in detail

  • 2h
  • 15 years min.
  • 4 to 12 participants
  • Up to 30 people for a privatization
  • Transform your garden into a culinary paradise alongside Martine!

As soon as you arrive at the field, you'll discover your floral playground. Martine will introduce you to the farm and share her passion for flowers and plants, as well as her eco-responsible approach. You'll get a behind-the-scenes view of an organic farm!

Next, it's time to put your fresh knowledge into practice! Equipped with your gloves, you'll be ready to embark on a true floral treasure hunt. You'll be guided in the proper techniques based on the schedule and season.

From April to the end of October, you'll embark on flower reconnaissance, delicately picking and tasting them to savour their unique flavours. For example, you'll have the opportunity to prepare a pesto or another culinary creation based on the season, before leaving with a small container of edible flowers.

If you join the workshop in early spring, you'll have the chance to participate in seed sowing and the creation of a small planter that you can take home with you.

For other times of the year, the expert will reveal the secrets of drying and preserving flowers in jars, so you can enjoy edible flowers even during the colder seasons. You'll also have the opportunity to create cuttings of aromatic plants (whose flowers are edible) and a few perennial plants. You can even design a planter for a bountiful harvest when the beautiful seasons return.

At the end of the workshop, you'll walk away with valuable tips and plants that will ensure future harvests. Whether it's in the form of plants to cultivate at home or a container of edible flowers, this experience will be a source of pleasure and discovery for your palate.

    Meet Martine

    Florist and Gardener

Before delving into the world of plants, particularly flowers, Martine had several enriching professional experiences in large companies. However, a few years ago, she embarked on an evening course where she found a space to express her creativity, learn various techniques, and gain confidence. This led her to take the leap and enter the extraordinary realm of flowers and design.

Through her selection of fresh and dried flowers, beautiful foliage, and berries, Martine brings out the true beauty of weddings, home interiors, and businesses with her unique creations. She has honed her skills through internships and experiences in stores, immersing herself in the fascinating world of floral artistry.

In addition, Martine is a gardener who assists urban dwellers in cultivating their own small piece of land, reconnecting them with seasonal cycles and promoting sustainable approaches to food and decoration. Adopting an eco-responsible mindset is of utmost importance to her.

With boundless passion, Martine shares her knowledge through workshops that revolve around the art of floral design and gardening. Participants are inspired to embrace the beauty of nature and learn practical skills in creating stunning floral arrangements. Martine's workshops are a wonderful opportunity to explore the world of flowers and plants while fostering a sustainable and eco-friendly mindset.
