Compose your own bouquet of fresh flowers

Welcome to Daphne's workshop! 

This great flower enthusiast will guide you through a creative session to make a beautiful bouquet of fresh local flowers. After exploring the magnificent dreamlike workshop dating from 1920, this eco-conscious florist will explain her world, and the alternative choices that guide her daily lives: slow flower, circular economy, local and organic suppliers, upcycling, etc. 

After this short presentation, you will start creating your bouquet. From the choice of flowers and plants according to the desired result, and taking into account the final effect, to learning the techniques of the pros, your bouquet will take shape little by little. 

Then, step by step, flower after flower and petal after petal, Daphne will guide you in the creation of your bouquet. After completing the final touches, you will leave with your new creation and a comprehensive craft approach to flowers.

This workshop is offered in French and English simultaneously. Daphné will adapt the language of the workshop according to the participants present. 

Passionate about flowers and new ideas, Daphne works in an incredible workshop, where creativity and poetry are the order of the day! 

The workshop is a former hat shop, where the typical Art Nouveau façade validates its status as the oldest store on the street. 

She embarked on a career change and launched Versus, a concept that promotes an alternative and responsible approach to floristry. She promotes a circular, local, organic and upcycling economy, by using Belgian flower producers and partnering up with European artists, and neighbourhood shopkeepers. At Versus, plants are sculptural tools. Like a painter with their palette, here the lines, shapes and colours of the flowers decide a composition or a bouquet.
