This workshop is the perfect way to discover pattern making, even if you have no previous experience. The session starts with an introduction to Julie and her background, followed by a round table to get to know each other.Â
You'll learn how to create a pattern for a made-to-measure pencil skirt, starting by taking your measurements (waist, hips, etc.). You will then draw the reference axes on the pattern (centre back, centre front, waist, small hips, pelvis).
After calculating the necessary ease, you will transfer the measurements to the pattern, add the clips and draw the curves of the sides. At the end of the workshop, you'll modify the pattern to personalise your design (add slits, ruffles, cut-outs like a denim skirt, etc.).
You'll leave with a bespoke pencil skirt pattern, ready to be turned into a garment!

La styliste privilĂ©gie les piĂšces uniques et les petites sĂ©ries, persuadĂ©e que les vĂȘtements doivent mettre en valeur le corps et non l'inverse. Son intĂ©rĂȘt pour la dĂ©construction vestimentaire la pousse Ă concevoir des piĂšces qui s'enroulent autour du corps, plaçant ce dernier au centre de la crĂ©ation.
