Learn how to use a wood lathe at this 4-hour workshop with Marc!
This introductory session will start with a tour of his beautiful workshop to discover his traditional universe. He will present his career, some of his projects, and explain what the wood lathe is.Â
He will also show you the different tools he uses on a daily basis, as well as several types of wood. You will then launch into the practical component, with the handling of the tools.Â
Marc will teach you how to rough out the wood and then work your piece of wood to give it the shape of a candlestick. You will also be responsible for finishing by sanding and then applying an oil, wax or varnish.Â
To round of this wonderful time spent with this wood expert and enthusiast, you will get to leave with your own beautiful candleholder, made by your own hands!

Meet Marc
Woodturner
Passionate about wood, Marc was just 14 years old when he began his training in carpentry and cabinet making. At 24, he launched his own cabinet making and interior woodworking business. He became an expert: he knows everything there is about wood and works it in all its forms.
A few years later, his curiosity and passion led him to train on the wood lathe, as well as in the field of wood carving.Â
Marc loves detail and produces stunning pieces. In his large workshop, filled to the brim with different varieties of wood and various works in progress, he now passes on his expertise with determination and a respect for tradition!

J'ai passÊ un très bon moment. Marc connait très bien son mÊtier et partage ses connaissances avec patience, avec bonne humeur. Je conseille à tout un chacun qui souhaite en apprendre plus sur cet art de suivre un atelier de Marc.

J'ai passĂŠ 4h merveilleuse avec Marc dans son atelier. Il est un excellent professeur et un humain chaleureux et ouvert. Quel plaisir de dĂŠcouvrir cette personne ainsi que son art.
