  • Join Elisa and Fabiano for a comprehensive workshop on the essentials of Italian gelato and sorbet making at Cremoloso Gelato.

    The founders will introduce you to the foundational aspects of their brand before guiding you through the history and crafting process of authentic Italian gelato.

    During the workshop, participants will learn how to carefully balance ingredients that go into making premium gelato and sorbet. The practical part of the session will involve hands-on churning, providing insight into the transformation from raw ingredients to the finished product.

    The focus will be on understanding the subtleties of texture and taste that define true Italian gelato. With guidance from Elisa and Fabiano, you will create 500g of gelato to take home, serving not only as a delicious treat but also as a memento of the skills learned. This workshop is an engaging experience that offers a slice of Italy through its most iconic frozen dessert.

    We will provide an apron for each participant.

    The essence of Cremoloso lies in its use of fresh components, coupled with an innovative spirit that continually experiments with new flavours and blends. The duos' dedication to excellence is reflected in their meticulous selection process for ingredients.

    Beyond serving gelato, Elisa and Fabiano aim to share their knowledge and passion for genuine Italian gelato with the London community. They invite enthusiasts into their kitchen to explore the craft of gelato making and encourage creativity within the folds of Italian culinary tradition.

    We had a great couple of hours with Fabiano in Earlsfield. Enjoyed learning about gelato. Helping to make it and the highlight of eating eat. Excellent. We have the gelato in our fridge awaiting our next family dinner which will now be a gelato party! Thank you!

    Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the finished products are incredible. We dare not eat too much of either flavour in one go, so we are savouring each tub! The only shame was that we weren't allowed to take more of it home!

    Part Two Elisa and Fabiano were both charming hosts and have the knowledge and patience that provide the perfect combination for a workshop such as this one. You can tell that gelato making is more than a job to them; it's something they are obviously passionate about, and that really rubbed off on us as their students. Getting stuck into the unique gelato-making practice was both a fascinating and thoroughly enjoyable experience and gave us a wonderful insight into the culinary art. On a personal level, I revelled in being able to scoop unlimited amounts of gelato out of the machines - although I don't think my personal trainer was thanking me for that...

    Part One I booked this experience for my mum and myself as a Mother's Day present and it didn't disappoint! A few days prior to our booking, I telephoned with some queries and Elisa was able to answer all of them. This included advice on how to transport our gelato on the two-hour journey home, which was our greatest preoccupation. We were also able to make our requested gelato flavours - mint choc chip (my mum's absolute favourite) and salted caramel. Given the variety of ingredients that they have in the kitchen, I don't think there is a flavour that they wouldn't be able to accommodate.

    We had such a lovely time at the ice cream factory! We made chocolate ice cream and a strawberry sorbet. Both were soooo good! Fabiano and Elisa were very friendly and fun and I learned a lot about ice cream. A great activity to do with some friends or colleagues.
