Join Rosie, a London-based textile artist, for a Christmas themed needle felting workshop.
The workshop begins with an introduction to Rosie and the materials used in needle felting. You will be provided with your own tools, mat, and finger protectors and guided through a step-by-step process of creating your very own felted mistletoe decoration.
Rosie will teach you the therapeutic process of manipulating the wool with your tools, and you'll learn the best techniques to create your base form to embellish. Rosie will teach you how to add detail and individuality to your felted creation.
You'll have the opportunity to experiment and develop your skills under Rosie's expert guidance. Tea and biscuits will also be provided to help your creativity flow.
At the end of the workshop, you will have a beautifully hand-crafted mistletoe of your own, to hang up with pride!
Rosie creates a calm and friendly atmosphere where you can develop your confidence and feel free to ask any questions along the way. All the materials you need will be provided, and you will even get the option to take your felting mat and needle home with you to continue crafting!
This class is perfect for beginners - no prior experience is needed.

Meet Rosie
Textile Artist
Rosie Ellen Hickman is an East-London based Illustrator and Textile Artist, specialising in needle felting and hand embroidery. Rosie creates intricate textile pieces for high-end interior design and international clients.
Rosie loves to work in miniature, creating detailed, sentimental artworks, perfect for trinket shelves and Christmas trees. Her bespoke work includes a wonderful collection of felted pets where people can have their best furry friends recreated in miniature form.
Rosie enjoys teaching people to work with felt and textiles, encouraging them to get creative. She is warm and patient and loves to see the pieces her participants create. Her workshops are a true moment to relax and unwind, whilst learning a skill you can carry on practicing at home.
