Learn wheel throwing as a pair and create a pottery hug vase

Come to Claystation Studio for a pottery experience with ceramicist Gioia. During this workshop you and your partner will learn how to throw on the wheel and create your own ceramic piece.

Gioia will start by teaching you the basics of wheel throwing and guide you through the process of shaping your clay. Whether you're new to pottery or have some experience, you'll be able to create your own unique piece.

Once you've completed your creation, you'll move on to the Hug Vase activity. Gioia will have prepared a large vase for you to personalise the day before. Together with your loved one, you'll press your hug into the vase, leaving a physical imprint.

Once the session is over, Gioia and her team will take care of firing and glazing your piece. In three weeks, your finished Hug Vase will be ready for you to collect and take home.
