Caterina's journey from translator and writer to restaurateur is deeply rooted in her family's love of food. Growing up in a household where cooking was a cherished tradition passed down through generations, she absorbed the essence of Greek cuisine from her mother, grandmothers and great-grandmothers. Food wasn't just sustenance, it was an expression of love and culture that shaped Caterina's culinary skills from an early age.

Despite initially pursuing a career in education and languages, a moment in Amsterdam rekindled Caterina's passion for entrepreneurship. Inspired by her love of olive oil and a desire to share authentic Greek cuisine, she embarked on a three-year journey to create Olivity. Through meticulous planning and unwavering determination, Olivity was born, offering not only food, but a gateway to the rich cultural heritage of Greece.
