Aurélie welcomes you in her workshop to teach you how to make floral and scented candles.
Aurélie will guide you through the process of making your own custom-made candle. You will start by weighing the wax and then melting it. The melting time will allow you to make your choice from the delicious fragrances suggested by Aurélie.
You will also have time to think about the floral composition you wish to create for your candle: beautiful flowers and dried leaves will be at your disposal.
Once you have made your choice and the wax has melted, you will need to use a pipette to add the necessary amount of perfume to the wax. You will then have to mix the preparation for a few minutes. Once ready, the wax can be poured into a beautiful ceramic container from Portugal and the wick placed. You will then have to wait a few minutes to pour the wax mixture a second time and add the dried flowers to dry in the candle.
Once finished, you won't even want to burn your candle because it will be so pretty!

Meet Aurélie
Florist
Aurélie first worked at the Palais des Beaux Arts in Brussels and then in a communications agency, before taking the plunge in 2019 and turning to her true passion: flowers. She then opened her own workshop!
She is known for her dried flower arrangements and her taste for pretty things. What she loves most is sharing her passion and collaborating with others on ambitious projects. She has collaborated with the prestigious chocolate maker, Pierre Marcolini!
She runs workshops that aim to share her ultimate passion for flowers with as many people as possible, and to this end, she welcomes you to her beautiful and charming workshop, at the heart of Le Châtelain.

J'ai adoré l'atelier. Nous avons pu choisir notre parfum et la composition de fleurs pour notre bougie. Super explications et les fleurs séchées étaient trop belles. un atelier à faire et à refaire !

Ma fille et moi avons adoré participer à ce très chouette atelier (création de bougie fleurie et parfumée) ! Un tout grand merci aux deux charmantes animatrices, dont les explications étaient très claires et précieuses… L'ambiance était extrêmement paisible et sympa, et nos réalisations très réussies !
