Welcome to Aurore's workshop for a wonderful day devoted to clay!Ā
You will be warmly welcomed by this passionate artisan. After taking the time to get to know each other, she will start by giving you an introduction to the theoretical basics of ceramics.Ā
Then comes the time to dive right in! First of all, you will learn how to prepare the clay, which is soft and easy to shape.Ā
The morning will be devoted to the potter's wheel technique. Centring, drilling, opening, lifting the sides... Aurore will take the time to explain each step in detail. With her help and advice, you will be able to make a pot or bowl on your potter's wheel.Ā
In the afternoon, you will discover the specifics of modelling. You will have the opportunity to make the piece of your choice: bowl, cup, plate... It's up to you! You can even personalise it by adding cool details, like a stem or a handle.Ā
Once you have cleaned and tidied up your equipment, you can leave your creations in Aurore's hands. She will take care of drying, firing and glazing. You will also be able to make direct arrangements with her for the pick-up of your creations (within a few weeks).Ā
At the end of the workshop, you will leave with the joy of having discovered a fascinating world, while looking forward to picking up your creations and displaying them at home!Ā
NB: For this workshop, there will be a lunch break of around an hour in the courtyard in the sunshine, or inside the workshop depending on the day's weather! Bring your lunch and share it for a convivial moment.

Aurore is a joyful and determined artisan, committed to living her passion!Ā
After studying hotel management, administration and tourism, she had a successful international career in the luxury hotel industry. Driven by curiosity and passion, she also studied interior design, which led her to discover clay, ceramics and pottery, a fascinating and wide-ranging craft.
In 2020, she took the leap, leaving everything behind to fully dedicate herself to her passion. She established her own startup and welcomed her first students in June 2021.
Driven by her ecological values, Aurore prioritises sustainability in her craft. She uses predominantly rainwater in her studio, recycles clay, and supports local suppliers for her materials.
Her style is minimalist and zen, drawing inspiration from the rich tradition of pottery in Japan, where it is considered a timeless art form. Her cosy little studio serves as a haven of tranquility, where Aurore warmly welcomes participants and shares the therapeutic benefits of working with clay.
What makes her even more endearing is her love for animals! Her dog, Fluffy, is always by her side, ready to greet participants with gentle cuddles!
