Immerse yourself in the magical art of jewellery making with Idil!
On arrival, you'll be greeted by this passionate artisan who will explain her background and the theory behind her skills.
Then it's up to you! You'll have the opportunity to create a piece of twisted silver jewellery to suit your taste. Ring, bracelet, pendant, earrings... There's something for everyone!
Under Idil's guidance, you'll learn how to use a bocfil or file to shape your piece.
Your 925 silver piece will then be cast and can be personalised with gold plating. You can collect it a week or two after the workshop.
You'll leave with a souvenir of this wonderful experience, and will be happy to wear or give away your beautiful silver creation!
Workshop location
Idil's studio can be reached by public transport from the centre of Brussels.
This place is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
After training at Arts & Métiers and then in ceramics at the Waterloo Academy of Fine Arts, Idil opened her boutique in Saint-Gilles in January 2024.
Of French, Belgian and Turkish origin, Idil combines all these influences in her creations.
Inspired by architecture and traditional motifs from around the world, she now creates her own jewellery. With a strong commitment to slow design, she favours limited collections and one-off pieces.
Idil also uses fair trade materials and works closely with local artisans in Brussels.
Come and meet her and immerse yourself in a world where each piece is an invitation to dream and travel!
