The workshop in detail

  • 2h30
  • 15 years min.
  • 2 to 4 participants
  • Up to 4 people for a privatization
  • In this taster workshop, you will explore wheel throwing, pinching and coiling to make a set of two beautiful ceramic objects such as a mug, jug, vase and bowl. Through expert tuition and personalised guidance, you will be supported to create items such as a mug, jug, vase or bowl. This immersive workshop will give you an authentic experience of learning the craft of pottery in a fully creative and relaxed environment.Ā

As part of the creative journey, attendees will select a color scheme from an exclusive array of the studio's glazes to personalize their creations. These bespoke pieces will subsequently undergo a meticulous finishing process, emerging as collectables from the studio after three weeks or delivered by post upon request.

With a commitment to providing a concentrated learning experience, the workshop accommodates no more than four students at a time, ensuring that each receives ample attention and that the interaction between the instructor and students is of the highest quality.

Each attendee will have access to a variety of clays, an array of sculpting tools and a spectrum of glazes, as well as an apron. The crafting of the mug involves a dual firing in an electric kiln, reaching temperatures of 1260 degrees to guarantee durability and finish.
