Discover the secrets of jewellery making with Justine and Laurence!
These two passionate artisans will be delighted to welcome you to their workshop. After introductions, they will begin by offering you an introduction to the basics of jewellery making: you'll learn about the tools at your disposal and the various techniques involved in this craft.
Then it's your turn! You'll first choose your favourite ring design from a selection prepared by Justine and Laurence.
Using a silver wire, you'll learn how to bring your ring to life. Measuring the size, soldering, polishing, finishing... all these steps will become familiar to you, thanks to the detailed explanations from the artisans. They will also offer advice and answer any questions you may have.
In the end, you'll leave with your stunning 925 recycled silver ring, a symbol of this wonderful moment of sharing and creation!
Note: If you want to opt for 18k gold plating, engraving, or a ring made entirely in 18k Fairtrade gold, Justine and Laurence will provide you with a quote for these options not included in the workshop cost.

Jewellers
The story began in 2015, when Justine and Laurence decided to embark on a new entrepreneurial venture. They founded their own jewellery brand, TaohƩ, named after Tao, the Chinese philosophy's concept of "the middle way," and also after the American lake of the same name.
Laurence, a trained psychologist, loves discovering the latest trends and designing new models for the collection. Optimistic and creative, she crafts the jewellery from start to finish, using her expert eye for colourimetry.
Justine, a former management engineer, is passionate about developing and overseeing the project from all angles. She also utilises her experience in development cooperation to create unique pieces that support ethical mineral supply chains.
Today, Justine and Laurence work hand in hand in their workshop, located in a small village in the Brabant Wallon region. Their goal? A short, 100% transparent supply chain for their jewellery, made from recycled 925 silver or 18k gold certified by Fairtrade.
For them, the workshops are a way to share the joy of creation, offering participants a timeless experience in crafting ethical and profoundly unique jewellery.
