Lieven's passion for his craft extends beyond his own creations. For over two decades, he taught Product Development at Artesis University College, guiding aspiring designers on their own creative journeys. He also collaborated with international universities, bringing his expertise and insights to diverse projects.
Lieven's artistic talents transcend traditional instrument design. With a background in graphic design and promotion, he brings a unique perspective to his work. His creative vision led him to explore serigraph printing on t-shirts and promotional accessories, seamlessly blending his passion for music and visual arts.
Driven by a commitment to the well-being of musicians, Lieven focuses on creating ergonomic music instruments. Collaborating with musicians who struggle with backaches, he crafts instruments that prioritise comfort without compromising on exceptional sound quality. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre visite de l'atelier. C'était très instructif et intéressant à découvrir. Lieven nous a accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et nous a expliqué les différentes étapes de la fabrication d'instruments. Merci !

Nous avons passé un moment magique dans l'atelier de Lieven, qui nous a reçu chez lui en toute simplicité et avec une grande gentillesse. Nous sommes parties à la découverte de la fabrication d'instruments, des matériaux, des machines et des différents types de bois exploités par l'artiste. Nous avons adoré les banjos et autres instruments en bois que l'artisan confectionne à destination des enfants. Nous sommes ressorties de chez Lieven avec des étoiles plein les yeux! Merci à lui, de nous avoir partagé sa passion! C'est un homme débordant de générosité et d'imagination! Il ne nous reste plus qu'à créer notre propre projet de guitare ;)
