Join Bex for a workshop where you'll learn how to create your own ceramic mug from scratch.
The workshop starts with a warm welcome to Bex's studio, complete with a cup of tea or coffee to help you settle in. She will introduce herself and give you a brief overview of the studio and the tools you'll be using during the session.
Bex will then demonstrate the hand building techniques you'll need to create your mug. You'll learn step by step how to shape, form and build the mug. After the demonstration, it's time to get hands-on and start building your own mug, with Bex on hand to guide you and offer tips as needed.
Once your mug is finished, Bex will take care of the glazing and firing. Your finished mug will be ready for collection in 4-6 weeks. If you prefer, you can have it posted to you for a small additional fee payable on the day.
This workshop offers a friendly and supportive environment where you can learn new skills and create a personal piece to take home!

Meet Bex
Ceramicist
Bex is a trained ceramicist who studied glass, ceramics, jewellery and metalwork at the University for the Creative Arts. After graduating she began working in a ceramics studio in Lewes where she developed her expertise.
Her work is inspired by geological rocks and the natural processes that shape them. This influence is evident in the detailed textures and shapes she creates in her ceramics.
Bex is known for her friendly and outgoing nature. She enjoys meeting new people and helping them create their own pieces. She takes pride in seeing others happy with their work.
In her studio, Bex offers guidance and support, making the creative process accessible to everyone, whether you're new to ceramics or want to improve your skills.
