Join Mollie for an exciting wax carving workshop where you can create your own ring. This workshop is an introduction to jewelry making and begins with a 20 minute demonstration where Mollie will introduce you to the tools and techniques you'll be using.Ā
Next you'll have the opportunity to try out these methods on a practice piece to familiarize yourself with the wax and tools.
Once you're ready, Mollie will help you measure your ring and guide you step by step in creating your own unique design. As the workshop progresses, you'll begin to bring your creation to life by carving and refining your ring. With about an hour to go, Mollie will make sure you're on track with the final touches to ensure your ring is polished to perfection.
At the end of the session you'll choose the final polish for your piece and present your work to the group - a lovely moment to celebrate your new creation!
Mollie will then cast your rings and get in touch when they are ready to be collected or posted out, additional postage fee will aplly on the day.Ā

Meet Mollie, an independent jeweller based in Brighton with a charming workshop in nearby Lewes. With a focus on sustainability and a passion for the handmade process, Mollie's journey began seven years ago after graduating from a jewellery and goldsmithing course in Ireland.
Mollie's distinctive style is characterised by geometric shapes and simple designs, resulting in beautiful, everyday pieces. She offers bespoke commissions and creates a warm atmosphere where clients can actively participate in the design journey, ensuring that each piece tells a personal story.
In addition to her jewellery creations, Mollie has been running engaging wax ring workshops for over four years, teaching the ancient method of lost wax casting. She also offers jewellery making classes and one-to-one sessions in her shop, welcoming all skill levels to explore their creativity.
