  • Discover the world of beer at your fingertips!

    Hélène invites you to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of zythology, where you'll have the chance to become a real beer expert.

    The workshop begins with a fun introduction to the secrets of the zythologist's trade. Together, you'll play a card game that takes you back in time to key dates in the history of beer.

    Then immerse yourself in the beer-making process by taking part in a range of interactive activities: question and answer, ingredient tasting, malting, hop infusion and more. You'll also see some of the ingredients under the microscope as you explore different styles of beer.

    Then it's time for the tasting! Using guided cards, you'll train your nose and palate to identify the aromas hidden in the bottles. The highlight of the workshop is a blindfolded tasting where you'll try to guess the style of beer from five different cards.

    Finally, you'll explore the art of food and beer pairing by creating the perfect combination of three dishes and three beers.

    At the end of the experience, you'll leave with an apprentice zythologist diploma to prove your new skills.

    Get ready to take your aperitifs to a whole new level!

    Meet Helene

    Zythologist

    Meet Hélène, a passionate zythologist!

    After a 14-year career in banking, she decided to follow her passion for beer and the world around her. In 2018, she began her training in zythology at the IFAPME in Charleroi and in 2021, she obtained a university diploma in malting and brewing at the Institut Meurice.

    Her approach is characterised by the desire to offer tasty journeys around beer. For Hélène, beer is much more than just a drink: it's a gateway to many themes, an opportunity to pause and share.

    What makes his expertise unique is above all his infectious passion. Every meeting is an opportunity to talk, learn and feel. She takes the time to talk to each participant, seeking to involve them in an immersive and enriching experience.

    Come to Hélène's workshop and let yourself be carried away by the delicious pleasures of beer at her side!

    Cet atelier est vraiment très bien conçu, Hélène allie la théorie et la pratique à merveille. Il est ludique ce qui permet d'apprendre beaucoup en un rien de temps. Je conseille cet atelier sans hésiter.

    3H peuvent paraître longue mais au final c’est passer extrêmement vite car cet atelier est très complet et surtout très varié entre la théorie et la pratique en plus des dégustations diverses que nous avons pu effectuer. Merci Hélène pour cette chouette formation 😁
