During an immersive day, Alain invites you to dive into the fascinating world of screen printing, where you'll have the chance to create a two-colour poster.
Upon your arrival, you'll be warmly welcomed by the passionate expert, introduce you to his workshop. You'll be initiated into the fundamentals of screen printing by exploring the tools, raw materials, and traditional techniques that will bring your creation to life.
In the morning, roll up your sleeves to create your own printing supports. You'll learn how to emulsify, expose, reveal, and prepare your screens based on the design you've chosen.
The afternoon will be a true immersion in the printing process. Registering, flooding, printing, and drying – all the precise actions of a screen printer will no longer hold secrets for you! You'll embark on creating your two-colour poster, carefully printing the first coloru before proceeding with the second pass using the second colour.
At the end of the day, you'll leave with a stunning poster that you've created from start to finish, ready to infuse a touch of art into your favorite space!
Note: The workshop will take place over one day. During the lunch break, you can enjoy a friendly break. Remember to bring your own lunch.

Screen printer
Meet Alain, a versatile artist whose unique journey takes him from the music industry and label management to the fascinating world of screen printing.
His journey began within the center of alternative cultures, where he discovers his passion for screen printing. Subsequently, he established his own dedicated workshop for this artisanal printing technique, sharing his expertise through numerous screen printing initiation workshops.
In 2017, the artist reached a new milestone by co-founding, alongside two of his colleagues, a space specifically designed for screen printing, nestled in the heart of Ateliers Dony and Comptoir des Ressources Créatives in Liège. The three founders share a common passion for this art while pursuing their own individual artistic projects.
Beyond his own artistic creations, Alain offers screen printing services for a variety of clients, whether they are professionals or individuals. His expertise extends to producing posters, fabric bags, and original T-shirts.
At the core of his workshop, the expert conducts workshops for screen printing initiation and practice, whether in small groups to foster collaboration or in individual sessions for a more personalised learning experience.
