De workshop in detail
Join Hannah for a two-hour 'artisan on the go' workshop, where Hannah brings the fundamentals of circular weaving to your doorstep. This hands-on session is designed to teach you how to create a unique wall tapestry using a round frame.
During the workshop, Hannah will guide you through selecting yarns and setting up your loom, a 20cm diameter metal ring. She'll introduce you to various weaving techniques such as tabby weave, soumak weave, and the rya knot technique. These methods will help you fill your loom and complete your tapestry.
Hannah will provide practical tips and advice throughout the session, ensuring you have the knowledge to weave independently after the workshop. The relaxed setting, complemented with beverages, makes for an enjoyable learning environment.
By the end of the workshop, you'll have a completed circular weave to take home and the confidence to tackle future weaving projects.

Praktische informatie
Hannah offers the flexibility to conduct her weaving workshops across several major cities within the provinces of Utrecht, Noord-Holland, and Zuid-Holland. This includes, but is not limited to, prominent locations such as Utrecht, Rotterdam, The Hague, and Amsterdam, ensuring accessibility and convenience for participants in these regions.
Hannah requires the availability of a table and sufficient seating for up to 10 participants.
Approximately 30 minutes are required both prior to and following the workshop for setup and tidying.

Hannah Emerson is de talentvolle textielkunstenares achter Tethered Twine. Hannah is al van jongs af aan creatief en heeft een passie voor het maken van mooie, tastbare stukken. Haar liefde voor tekenen, schilderen en het maken van vriendschapsarmbandjes baande de weg voor haar artistieke reis.
Nadat ze een diploma in Psychologie en Schone Kunsten had behaald, ontwikkelde Hannah haar belangstelling voor macrame, weven en haken. Zo begon ze prachtige wandkleden te maken die ze uiteindelijk in 2019 online ging verkopen. Maar Hannah is ook data-analist en combineert haar tijd tussen werk en haar passie.
De magie vindt plaats in Hannah's gezellige gemeenschappelijke studio. Ze staat altijd te popelen om les te geven en haar kennis te delen met iedereen die wil leren. De laatste jaren beleeft Hannah veel plezier aan het geven van workshops en haar kennis met anderen te delen. Haar liefde voor lesgeven is net zo sterk als haar passie voor creëren, en ze verwelkomt je graag bij één van haar workshops!
