Discover mixology with Romain, a professional bartender with a rich nine-year background in the art of cocktail creation. This two-hour workshop, set in the inviting ambience of the Shaker Cocktail Club, provides a unique opportunity to delve into the craft of cocktail making.
Under Romain's expert guidance, attendees will engage in a comprehensive session where the history and anecdotes of mixology are seamlessly woven into the practical experience. Participants will not merely discuss the theoretical aspects but will actively create two cocktails, gaining hands-on experience in the art of mixing drinks.
Each participant will have access to a personal 'bar station', fully equipped with the necessary apparatus — shakers, strainers, muddlers, jiggers, and more. This setup ensures an immersive learning environment where individuals can develop their mixology skills concurrently.

Mixologist
Romain is a seasoned professional bartender with a career that spans over nine years in Paris and a recent tenure in Amsterdam.
His journey into the art of mixology began fifteen years ago as a personal hobby, delighting friends with a selection of homemade cocktails. This passion evolved into a vocation, propelling him through the ranks from an assistant bartender to managing a cocktail bar.
With over three years of experience and more than 550 cocktail workshops under his belt, Romain has imparted his extensive knowledge of cocktail preparation to over 4000 individuals. His workshops are more than just classes; they are a sharing of his lifelong dedication to the craft of mixology.
Romain's approach to teaching is rooted in his desire to share not just the techniques but the joy of creating exquisite cocktails. He believes that the essence of a great cocktail lies in the understanding of its components and the care in its creation. His transition from bar management to hosting workshops was driven by a commitment to pass on his skills and enthusiasm for mixology.

It was an amazing experience with the most delicious cocktails in the Netherlands. A French master teaches crafting unique cocktails you won't find anywhere else. Incredible cozy atmosphere and friendly company. Highly recommend it!

We genuinely loved doing this workshop. Roman is very knowledgeable in the art of mixology and we learned a lot about the history of cocktails and various spirits. It was super interesting and, most importantly, the cocktails that we made were delicious! I will definitely be attempting to make them at home very soon. I would highly recommend this workshop as a fun activity with your partner or with friends. I myself will be returning with my husband at some point as I think it's a fun date night idea as well!
