INDIVIDUAL WORKSHOP: Experience a privileged moment with the artisan and enjoy personalised guidance to create a unique masterpiece!
With yarn and a magical machine, knit your own one-of-a-kind top alongside Charlène!
Upon your arrival, you'll be welcomed by the knitting queen. She'll offer you a beverage to make you feel at ease, and you'll immerse yourself in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, ready to knit in style.
The expert will then unveil her secret weapon: the knitting machine. She'll showcase all the creative possibilities it offers, teaching you the basic knitting stitches with precise and delicate movements.
Once you've mastered the basics, you'll be ready to knit like a pro. Soft and fluffy yarn will be provided, enveloping your hands in a cocoon of softness. You'll have the freedom to choose the colours that best reflect your style, and off you go, creating your unique top!
As you knit, you'll be carried away by the hypnotic rhythm of the craft.
After a few hours, you'll reach the finishing touches to your top. It'll be time to put in extra effort to give your creation the desired look.
At the end of the workshop, you'll walk away with your trendy top, knitted by your own hands, which you can proudly wear!

Textile designer
Charlène is a talented artist who has taken an amazing journey to achieve her dreams!
Her academic background reflects her commitment and passion for textiles: a Master's degree in Knitwear Design from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels, a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from the Haute École Francisco Ferrer, also in Brussels, and a BTS in Textile Design from the École Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et du Textile in Roubaix.
After a difficult period in her professional life, the textile designer launched her own brand. Through her experience in the fashion industry, she became aware of the harmful effects of this industry on the environment.
She then chose to follow her lifelong passion for design, using only local and recycled materials to give life to her drawings, decorative objects, textiles and candles.
Her brand Contrastes art & design is named after the importance of contrasts in artistic creation. The designer believes that contrasts allow her to highlight a creation's different facets and evoke emotions in people.
Charlène uses her skills in textile design, styling, knitting and candle-making to create unique and inspiring creations. She is a curious, playful, creative and multi-talented person who likes to share her skills through workshops!

Super atelier avec Charlene, j’ai appris plein de choses et suis repartie avec un beau top tout doux et sur-mesure. Charlene est une excellente pédagogue et j’ai passé un très bon moment. Je recommande à toutes celles et ceux qui sont curieux du tricot machine ou qui comme moi ont hérité d’une machine mais se sentent démunis.
Misschien vind je dit ook leuk...

Super expérience de tricot machine avec Charlène, les explications sont claires et permettent de réaliser un top avec la laine de son choix parmi les différentes proposées. Charlène est très avenante, l'atelier est agréable, je le recommande ! Encore merci !
