Make fused glass bowls and coasters in a private class

Welcome to Nadine's Studio, a hidden gem in East London. Situated on the canal, it's an ideal setting for creative pursuits.

This is a private workshop available for any group size up to 15! On arrival you will be warmly welcomed by Nadine, an experienced artist and teacher. With twenty years of teaching experience, she'll make sure everyone's safety is a priority before diving into the artistic process.

The workshop will begin with a focus on glasswork, drawing on Nadine's expertise in fused glass art. Participants will be introduced to examples of her work and given a practical understanding of the techniques involved.

Then it's time to get hands-on. You will work with Nadine to create your own pieces, choosing patterns, images and colours to suit your own tastes.

Safety is paramount as Nadine demonstrates the correct cutting techniques, enabling participants to work confidently with the glass provided. 

Then it's time to explore different shapes and styles and participants even have the option of incorporating metal inserts into their designs.

Once the designs are complete, they'll be placed in the kiln to be fired. You can collect your finished pieces or have them posted after a two-week working period for a small fee paid directly in the workshop.
