Get into the festive spirit with Bora's Christmas pottery workshop where you'll create your very own unique Christmas decoration.
The workshop starts with a warm welcome from Bora and an introduction to the materials and techniques you'll be using. You'll be inspired by a variety of Christmas decoration ideas, from ornaments to figurines, with examples provided to spark your imagination.
Next, Bora will guide you through clay preparation, introducing you to different types of clay and essential hand building techniques. After a demonstration of how to condition and prepare the clay, you'll get hands-on and start shaping your chosen Christmas decorations. Whether you're making stars, festive ornaments or creative figurines, Bora will be on hand to offer support and tips throughout.
Once your decorations are in shape, it's time to add some personal touches. You'll learn texturing and embellishment techniques to make your pieces truly unique. After moulding, you'll decorate your creations with underglazes and paints, adding those special festive touches to bring them to life.
At the end of the workshop your pieces will be delivered to Bora for glazing and firing. In 2-3 weeks your finished decorations will be ready for collection, or you can choose to have them shipped for a small additional fee.
This workshop is a wonderful way to create personalised Christmas decorations while learning new skills in ceramics!

My daughter and I attended Bora’s ceramic Christmas Decoration making class, what an absolutely enjoyable two hours it was! Everything was so well organised and thought through, we made two little Nutcrackers and will be collecting them in two weeks time after firing. Bora was so ably assisted by his lovely wife, they both made the evening so relaxing and fun. I would recommend this to anyone .
